The Battery Status API reports level, charging state, and estimated charge/discharge times. Support varies by browser: Chrome on some platforms exposes it; Safari and Firefox do not expose it to websites at all.
If this page says “Your browser does not expose battery information,” that says nothing about your hardware — it means the browser withheld the API. Desktops, laptops, phones and tablets all show the same message when the API is absent. That is a privacy decision by the browser vendor, and we respect it rather than working around it.
How it works
Open this page and the embedded script queries only documented browser APIs. Nothing is installed, no account is needed, and results reflect your current browser profile — including extensions, private mode and OS display scaling.

Support varies by browser. Privacy features (tracking prevention, user-agent reduction, fingerprint randomization) can generalize or withhold values. Treat results as a best-effort live snapshot rather than a certified hardware inventory.

Detection runs in your browser. We do not store fingerprints or device reports. The only network call any tool makes is the optional public-IP lookup on /my-ip (via a third-party IP API, disclosed in the privacy policy).
