Every card opens a dedicated page with live results and plain-English explanations.
Device information overview
See your operating system, browser, CPU hints, memory bucket, screen and language. Browsers share a safe subset of this with every site — this page shows you exactly what is visible, and explains what is deliberately withheld.
Open device information →Browser information
Name, version, engine, storage, WebGL and WebRTC support. Capability checks matter more than version numbers — two installs of the same browser can behave differently.
Open browser information →Network information
Public IP, connection hints, downlink and RTT estimates. Learn what an IP reveals (approximate area) and what it cannot (your street address).
Check my IP → · Network details →Privacy & fingerprint tools
See which everyday signals make up a browser fingerprint — computed locally, hashed in your browser, never uploaded. Probabilistic by design; privacy modes change it.

Actually useful
Real answers to “what browser am I on?”, “what is my IP?”, “why does this site look different?” — with copy, download and print on major tools.
Privacy-conscious
Client-side detection where possible. No fingerprint storage, no hidden tracking, no account walls. External IP lookup is documented in the privacy policy.
Honest about limits
When browsers withhold data we say so. No fake precision, no “100% accurate” claims — just what the browser permits, explained plainly.
How it works
- You open a tool — the page loads a tiny vanilla-JS module (no frameworks, no build step).
- Your browser answers — standard APIs (
navigator, screen, WebGL,Intl) return what the browser allows. - You read the result — with context on why it matters, its limits, and links to related guides.
Frequently asked questions
Is DeviceInfo.in free?
Yes. All core tools are free and require no account.
Do you store my device data?
No. Tool results are computed in your browser. We do not store fingerprints or device reports. Contact messages and standard server logs are the only things retained, as described in the privacy policy.
Why do some values show “not exposed”?
Browsers restrict hardware and network details for privacy. Safari and Firefox hide more than Chrome. “Not exposed” means the browser withheld it — not that your device lacks it.
Can websites see my exact location?
Not from an IP address. IP geolocation is approximate (city/region level) and often wrong on mobile networks. Precise location needs explicit GPS permission.
